From one QR tool
to a family of six products.

Ninecode JSC is a software company from Ho Chi Minh City. It was formed in 2023 around products its founder, Do Van Tan, had been building on his own for years. Today a team builds and runs them for people around the world, with one rule: software should be used, not learned.

01 / OUR STORYHOW WE GOT HERE

A founder’s projects,
then a company.

Ninecode did not begin as a company with a plan for six products. It began as one person’s tools, built because they were useful, and became a company when those tools needed a team.

  1. 2017

    It starts as a personal project

    Do Van Tan puts a simple QR code generator online at qrcode-gen.com. It is his own product, built in his own time, and it grows into QRCode GEN.

  2. 2021

    More products, still one person

    He starts NineQuiz, moving from QR codes into online quizzes and exams. The products are still personal projects, but they now share a name and a direction.

  3. 2023

    Ninecode is formed

    Ninecode takes shape as a company. It inherits the founder’s personal products and gives them what one person could not: a team, shared standards, and long-term support.

  4. Today

    Six products, one ecosystem

    QRCode GEN, NineQuiz, Nine Menu, NineCard, NineTick, and NineCheck each handle a different everyday job, and all of them are now built and run by the Ninecode team.

Experience comes first

Every product is designed so that someone can open it and get the job done without reading a guide. If a feature needs explaining, we keep working on it.

Free to use, for real work

Our products are free to start. People use them for real work first and decide for themselves whether they are worth more. The free plan is the product, not a demo.

Paid plans earn their place

When a product fits the way you work and your needs grow, you move to a paid plan with more capacity and more benefits. We would rather earn that step than force it.

Built for people everywhere

Our products are used well beyond Vietnam. NineCard is available in 19 languages and NineQuiz in 18, and we treat every one of them as a first-class version.

AI that goes deep,
not just wide.

Our focus now is bringing AI into the Ninecode product system, and taking it deeper into specialised fields where a general-purpose chatbot stops being useful. Education, through NineQuiz, is where we are going first and furthest.

NineQuiz is the product we are building for the long term. It gets our deepest investment in AI, and it sets the pattern the rest of the family will follow.

An AI assistant
that works like a teacher’s aide.

NineQuiz’s AI Assistant takes the slow parts of teaching, from writing a test to reading the results, and turns them into drafts a teacher can review in minutes. Everything the AI produces stays a draft until the teacher approves it.

    Draft a test from a sentence or a file

    Describe what you need, such as a 45-minute Grade 7 maths test drawn randomly by difficulty, or attach a document or video, and the assistant drafts the exam, Quick Quiz, or course.

    Questions in the formats you teach with

    NineQuiz supports nine question formats, from multiple choice and matching to short answer and fill in the blank, and the assistant drafts questions from a topic or your own material.

    STEM figures from a description

    Ask for a geometry figure, a function graph, a physics diagram, a circuit, or a chemical structure, then adjust each detail yourself.

    Formula photos into LaTeX

    Photograph a maths, physics, or chemistry formula and get LaTeX or MathML ready for Word and MathType.

    Results, read for you

    After an exam, the assistant summarises where the class is strong and which questions deserve a second look.

    A question bank that stays tidy

    It prefers your school’s existing questions over new ones, finds duplicates in the library, and estimates the credits before anything is generated.
